Applications for the IX annual "Trade of Russia" competition will be accepted starting  February 16, 2026.  The competition is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation with the assistance of industry associations: the Russian Association of Retail Market Experts, the Union of Independent Networks of Russia, the Small-Format Trade Association, the Association of Retail Companies, the Union of Wholesale Food Markets of Russia, the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers, and the autonomous non-profit organization "Russian Quality System."

Participants will be selected in the following categories: "Best Shopping Street," "Best Mobile Trading Facility," "Best Fair," "Best Retail Market," "Best Mobile Trading Facility," "Best Store," "Best Food Service Enterprise," "Best Trade Festival," "Best Wholesale Food Market," "Best Branded Network of a Local Manufacturer," "Best Presentation of Russian Goods," and "Best Roadside Service."

The "Trade of Russia" competition attracts participants from across the country. Winners will receive awards, and their achievements will, as usual, be showcased at the awards ceremony during the 12th "Russian Retail Week" from June 22 to 25, 2026.

In 2025, the winners of the All-Russian competition "Trade of Russia - 2025" from the Murmansk region include:

- a network of fair events "It's Warm in the North!", "It's Light in the North!", "It's Spring in the North!", "It's Knowledge Day in the North!", "It's Delicious in the North!";

- in the nomination “Best mobile trading facility” the winner was “Taste of the Arctic. Friendchef”, AKMA LLC, Kirovsk;

- in the nomination “Best roadside service” the network of gas stations EVECTA, OOO “Ivekta Group”.

To participate in the "Trade Russia" competition, please submit an application, complete the form, and attach 10 high-quality photographs to the website traderossii.rf.

The deadline for accepting applications  is March 27, 2026. The qualification selection and determination of the winners will be completed on April 30, 2026. From April 8 to 10, 2025, the III Belarusian-Russian Tourism Congress was held in Minsk, within the framework of which the Tourist Information Center of the Murmansk Region presented the tourism potential of the region to representatives of the tourism business of the Republic of Belarus.

The key event with the participation of the TIC of the Murmansk Region was the round table "Gastronomic brands as a means of promoting destinations". The General Director of the TIC Anastasia Ivanova spoke about the new trademark "Arctic cuisine" and the gastronomic festival "Taste of the Arctic".

In an industry discussion on ecotourism, Victoria Maksimova, Deputy Director of the TIC, spoke about the possibilities of ecotourism in the Murmansk Region, focusing on the region's natural resources and existing routes in the Kola Arctic. Anastasia Ivanova also presented automobile tourist routes in the Murmansk Region in an industry discussion on "Automobile Tourism and Active Recreation Infrastructure" and spoke about travel opportunities in the region for car enthusiasts.

In addition, within the framework of the previously concluded cooperation agreement between the Murmansk Region TIC and the Minsk Tourist Information Center, a meeting was held with the Republican Union of Tourism Industry. The meeting discussed the prospects for cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Murmansk Region, including the launch of direct flights Minsk-Murmansk by Belavia Airlines in May this year.

"Participation in the Russian-Belarusian Tourism Congress is a unique opportunity to talk about the tourism potential of our region, establish new business connections and offer travelers from Belarus unique routes around the Murmansk region. We are confident that the resumption of direct flights will be an important step in developing mutual interest between our regions," said Anastasia Ivanova, Director General of the Murmansk Region Tourist Information Center.
