The cargo turnover of the Murmansk port will increase to 110 million tons.
By 2027, it is planned to increase the Murmansk port's load from 56 to 110 million tons. This was announced by Vladimir Putin at the plenary session of the eighth Eastern Economic Forum.
This can be achieved, among other things, through the construction of new terminals and the expansion of railway approaches.
Governor Andrei Chibis emphasized that the launch of the Lavna port, the Arctic transshipment terminal, and the Rusatom Cargo container terminal will increase cargo turnover.
