The center for construction of large-tonnage marine structures has no analogues in the world. On its basis, world-class technologies for the production of liquefied natural gas are localized in Russia.
“This is the embodiment of the strength and power of our engineering science, the experience and skills of the workers of the Center for the Construction of Large-Tongue Marine Structures,” Governor Andrei Chibis noted on his social networks.
Workshop 107, where the LNG plant is assembled, is the largest production workshop in Russia. The height of Workshop 107 is 93 meters, making it the tallest building in the Arctic Circle. The workshop consists of 5 spans, which are closed by gates 70 meters high. Unique lifting crane equipment is used in the production workshops, for example, in Workshop 104, the length of the crane beam for assembling the module frames is 90 m, used only at the NOVATEK-Murmansk plant.
