The region has not only unique nature, but also a rich historical heritage. Guests of the Kola Arctic can get acquainted with the culture of the indigenous peoples of the North, visit museums and historical monuments of the region.

In 2024, the tourist flow amounted to over 760 thousand people. Over the past five years, within the framework of regional and federal projects, including the Presidential National Project "Tourism and Hospitality", 135 initiatives have been supported for a total of 400 million rubles. In particular, the cultural and tourist complex "Legends of the North" has been renovated in Murmansk.

The head of the region, Andrey Chibis, emphasized that tourism is one of the key areas of economic and service development within the framework of the program "Living in the North!" He also reminded that applications for the competition for the development of tourism infrastructure are being accepted from April 29 to May 29.
