The regional center hosted the II Regional Forum "Young Business of the Arctic" - a key platform for starting and developing a business in the Kola Arctic, where young entrepreneurs were able to share success stories and learn about the prospects for business development in the Murmansk Region.

Veronika Gnatko, Head of the Department of State Support for Entrepreneurship of the Ministry of Arctic Development and Economy, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, noting the importance of holding such events and their practical focus.

"The forum is not just a platform for exchanging experiences, but also a starting point for implementing bold ideas. We create conditions for young entrepreneurs to launch and scale up projects in the Arctic," said Veronika Gnatko.

Support for small and medium-sized businesses is one of the areas of the strategic plan "Living in the North!"

"Youth entrepreneurship is actively developing in our Murmansk Region. Young people create their own businesses, come up with interesting projects and help the economy grow. At the same time, they themselves find work and create additional jobs. “Holding such forums and meetings for young entrepreneurs helps someone take the first step, and someone to develop an existing project,” said Maria Chernysheva, Chairperson of the Youth Policy Committee of the Murmansk Region.

The forum brought together more than 15 top speakers – successful entrepreneurs and experts who shared practical knowledge for starting and developing projects.

The participants also attended master classes on marketing, finance, franchising and creative industries, networking with market leaders and a prize draw from the forum’s partners.

The forum was organized by Anna Pavlova, a regional representative of the young entrepreneurs’ community “Rosmolodezh.biznes,” as part of the Entrepreneurship Days of the Murmansk Region.

Let us recall that the Ministry of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk Region, together with the “My Business” center, is implementing business support measures as part of the national project “Efficient and Competitive Economy.”
