On March 27, 2025, the XII Federal Forum "Smart City and Safe Environment" (hereinafter referred to as the Forum) will be held in Moscow. The Forum will be held with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Construction of Russia, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of Russia, and the ANO "Smart City Competence Center". The organizer of the Forum is ComNews Group LLC.

The Smart City project was launched in Russia in 2018. The departmental project is aimed at changing the infrastructure of cities - housing and communal services, transport, environmental and public safety, decision-making systems in city and regional management, and most importantly, it involves citizens in solving urban development issues.
