The Murmansk Region continues accepting applications for participation in the regional stage of the federal program "Mom-entrepreneur", which will be held from September 22 to 26.

The project is aimed at supporting women raising minor children or on maternity leave, and helping to implement their business ideas.

"One of the goals of the "Mom-entrepreneur" program is to help women cope with the difficulties they encounter at the start of their business: lack of knowledge, self-confidence, lack of capital. And we see the effectiveness: graduates of the program launched 8149 projects, that is, 74% of participants were helped by the program to successfully start their business. At the same time, not only winners start their own business: the knowledge base they receive gives the participants the opportunity to independently attract funding for their project," noted Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Tatyana Ilyushnikova.

Participants will take part in a five-day free intensive training, during which they will be able to formulate a business idea, develop a financial model and a business plan, and immerse themselves in the business environment. At the final stage – the defense of business projects – experts will evaluate the economic feasibility, originality and social significance of ideas.

The winner of the regional stage will receive a grant of 150 thousand rubles (in 2025, the amount will be increased) and assistance in promoting the project. Participants who pass to the federal stage will be able to apply for a grant of up to 1 million rubles and partner support.
