The All-Russian public organization "Green Patrol" published the "National Environmental Rating of Russian Regions" based on this summer's results, in which the Murmansk Region ranks third among Russian regions and first in the Northwest.

"This year, in addition to significant environmental events, large-scale patriotic events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and World War II took place in Russia and its Arctic regions. Volunteers from the Clean Arctic public environmental project carried out significant repairs and improvements to war memorials and mass graves in the Republic of Karelia and the Murmansk Region," said Anastasia Faterina, head of the Green Patrol environmental initiatives department and head of volunteer groups at the Clean Arctic non-profit organization.

As a reminder, the region regularly hosts environmental conservation events, cleanup efforts, and environmental campaigns. Environmental initiatives will continue to thrive, with active collaboration with scientific institutions and businesses, and the involvement of volunteers in environmental projects.
