More than 1,500 people visited the MURMANSK.TRAVEL Market tourism exhibition in Murmansk.
Last weekend, the 7th annual tourism exhibition, MURMANSK.TRAVEL Market, took place in Murmansk. It was attended by over 1,500 people. The event, timed to coincide with World Tourism Day, aimed to promote domestic tourism and introduce regional residents to offers for the upcoming fall/winter season.
Leading tour operators and tourism industry entities from the Murmansk region were represented at the exhibition, including Lappi Tour, Travel Smart, Khibiny for You, Breath of the North, Visit Murmansk, Lapland Village, and Northern Lights Residence. Guests were also able to learn about local brands and projects, such as Womo Space, Sever, First Arctic Apiary, and Roast Arctic Coffee.
The N. A. Avrorin Polar-Alpine Botanical Garden-Institute, the Lapland Nature Reserve, and the Pasvik Nature Reserve introduced visitors to the unique natural environment of the Kola Arctic.
The cultural part of the program featured performances by the musical groups "Five Corners", "Murmansk Jam Sessions" and "Neo Gravity Vibes".
The event also included creative workshops and prize drawings from partners, including certificates for a Northern Lights hunt, glamping accommodations, a sauna day, and other tourist services and souvenirs. A special seasonal stamp was developed for Polar Explorer Passport holders.
The event was organized by the Tourist Information Center of the Murmansk Region with the support of the Plazma TV and Radio Company.
