Residents and visitors are invited to explore the region's tourism opportunities.

On September 27, the Plazma Shopping and Entertainment Center (4 Rogozerskaya Street) will host the regional tourism exhibition MURMANSK.TRAVEL Market, timed to coincide with World Tourism Day. It will serve as the central venue for showcasing the Kola Peninsula's tourism potential in anticipation of the autumn-winter season.

From 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, guests will enjoy a rich program featuring certified tour guides, leading regional tour operators, and representatives of the tourism industry.

"The main goal of the exhibition is to showcase the diversity and appeal of domestic tourism to residents and visitors of the region. Autumn and winter in the Arctic offer unique opportunities, from hunting for the northern lights to active recreation in the snowy Khibiny Mountains. "Murmansk.travel market is a great chance to plan your vacation with information directly from industry professionals," noted Denis Maltsev, Deputy Head of Marketing and Promotion at the Murmansk Region Tourism Committee.

The exhibition will also feature special offers for northerners from the Lapland Village and Northern Lights Residence country resorts.

Particular attention will be paid to ecotourism and scientific tourism. Specialists from the Polar-Alpine Botanical Garden Institute, the Lapland Nature Reserve, and the Pasvik Nature Reserve will give lectures on the region's natural wealth.

Guests will be able to learn about local brands like Womo Space and Sever, as well as unique projects like the First Arctic Apiary and Evecta.

Throughout the day, visitors will be able to participate in a variety of master classes. There will also be raffles for certificates for travel services, including a Northern Lights hunt, glamping, a sauna day, and much more. Polar Explorer Passport holders will be able to receive a special exhibition stamp.

The musical atmosphere of the festival will be enhanced by performances by the bands "Five Corners," "Murmansk Jam Sessions," and "Neo Gravity Vibes."

The event is organized by the Murmansk Region Tourist Information Center with the information support of the Murmansk Region Tourism Committee.
The event is included in the Governor's plan "Live in the North!" and meets the goals of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality."

Admission is free.

World Tourism Day was established by the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in 1979. The purpose of the holiday is to promote tourism, highlight its contribution to the global economy, and develop ties between the peoples of different countries. The date of the celebration, September 27, was chosen because the Charter of the World Tourism Organization was adopted on this day in 1970.
