The board game "Tell a Story" from the Murmansk region was named one of the best tourist souvenirs in Russia

Murmansk entrepreneur Yulia Prikazchikova's original board game, "Tell a Story," took second place in the All-Russian "Tourist Souvenir" competition. The competition results were announced at the "Intourmarket. Winter" international regional hospitality forum in St. Petersburg.
The winning project was created with the support of a grant from the regional Ministry of Culture as part of the governor's "Live in the North!" plan for startups of creative entrepreneurs. "Tell a Story" is an educational board game that allows participants to learn about the history of the region's settlement and development in an engaging way. The game cards contain detailed information about the indigenous people of the Kola Peninsula, their language, religion, and farming practices.
More than 1,000 souvenirs from 71 regions of Russia and Belarus were submitted to the competition finals. The Murmansk Region was represented by more than 20 creative industry professionals, nine of whom took prizes in various categories.
As a reminder, in 2024, a northerner's board game, "Tell a Story," was among the top ten winners of the Wildberries All-Russian "Cultural Code of Russia" competition.
For reference:
The All-Russian "Tourist Souvenir" competition has been held annually since 2015 and includes district stages, regional competitions, and a national final. Participants include creators and manufacturers of tourist souvenirs, folk art and craft artisans, museums, and institutions from across Russia.
