During a briefing, Governor Andrey Chibis announced that the Murmansk Region is launching a new tourist route, "Heart of the Arctic," for tourists from China and India. The tour won the ASI "Discover Your Russia" accelerator and will receive support for its promotion on the international market.

"Congratulations to my colleagues! The regional team and tour operators prepared and defended the project last week. Most importantly, everyone highly praised the product for our international guests and the project's presentation. The professionalism of our tourism team is growing. And we are seeing corresponding results. For the region, these visitors mean the economy, jobs, and the development of recreational infrastructure, including for northerners," noted Andrey Chibis. 

The new tour includes five days of travel, 14 attractions, eight excursions, seven dining options featuring Arctic cuisine, and four master classes. Locations: Murmansk, Teriberka, Lovozero, and Khibiny. 

The Governor announced another important victory: the Murmansk Region was recognized as the best region for inbound tourism, popular science tourism, and car tourism. The region's team was awarded the Grand Prix and first-place diplomas at the 5th All-Russian "Regions of Tourism and Hospitality" awards in St. Petersburg.
