The Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group) presented a large-scale national exhibit, "Made in Russia," at Gulfood 2026, the world's largest food industry exhibition, which took place in Dubai, UAE, from January 26-30.

Today, the booths showcased a diverse range of products, including cooked and frozen crabs, freeze-dried berries, baby food (fruit pieces, cookies, purees, and cereals), vegan gluten-free products, a wide selection of grains and legumes, protein-rich sweets, various beverages, flavored oils, and delicacies such as red caviar, salmon jerky, sauces, and pickled vegetables.
The Russian exhibit space doubled compared to last year, and the number of exhibitors increased from 115 to 139 companies from 40 regions of Russia, to showcase the full diversity of the domestic agricultural sector to visitors.

Russian Agriculture Minister Oksana Luth and General Director of the Russian Export Center Veronika Nikishina attended the opening of the Russian exhibit.
"The Middle East has very high standards and quality requirements, and our producers always strive to meet them. I am confident that Russian products are among the highest quality in the world. Halal products, of course, are a separate area at the exhibition. Russia receives new certificates every year, and last year we received approval for halal products from four more countries," noted Oksana Luth at the exhibit's opening ceremony.

"Gulfood-2026 is important for unlocking the potential of Russian agricultural exporters. The organization of 'Made in Russia' collective stands is a key support measure. The Russian Export Center co-finances companies' expenses, organizes negotiations, and provides support to participants. The Persian Gulf countries, particularly the UAE as a regional hub, are a strategic destination for Russian exports. We are the leader in grain exports here, and there is also high demand for confectionery, butter, poultry, and beef. "We have scheduled over 900 meetings with potential partners for our exporters to find buyers for Russian products," noted Veronika Nikishina, General Director of the Russian Export Center.
