Russian trade representatives in foreign countries visited a number of enterprises in the Murmansk region

During their visit to the Kola Arctic, Russian trade representatives abroad visited the region's fishing industry facilities and assessed their production capabilities and export potential.
Their first stop was the fish processing plant and fish store of Murman SeaFood LLC. The company's primary activities include catching and processing fish and seafood, as well as exporting products. Murman SeaFood operates on a full-cycle basis, from catching fish to selling it to the end consumer.
The delegation also visited the onshore processing facility and the modern refrigerated marine terminal in Minkino, one of the largest refrigeration complexes in the Murmansk Region. The guests were shown the automated warehouse and refrigeration equipment. Innovative low-temperature industrial refrigeration technologies were used in the construction of the complex for unloading, reloading, and storing fish products, and all in-terminal processes are fully automated.
Another highlight of the visit was the RMM Bioinnovations plant, the first full-cycle facility in Russia to produce low-molecular-weight cod collagen in powder form. Located near the fishing grounds of the Barents Sea, the company works with fresh raw materials. A full production cycle—from raw material receipt to laboratory testing, cleaning, and packaging—ensures high product quality. Importantly, the company's research is carried out jointly with Murmansk Arctic University and the Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod.
RMM Bioinnovations' products are certified for export to Japan, the EAEU, South Korea, Brazil, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and the UAE, and also comply with Halal standards. In 2025, the company won the "Breakthrough of the Year" category in the regional "Exporter-2025" competition in the Murmansk Region.
"The Murmansk Region's export potential remains strong: our companies not only produce products in demand worldwide but also set new standards in quality and technology. I am confident that working together with trade missions will open new horizons for our exporters and enable the implementation of even more promising projects," noted Svetlana Panfilova, Deputy Governor and Minister for Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk Region.
