As part of the Russia-China Economic Forum "AmurExpo 2026," representatives of the Russian Export Center Group (REC, VEB.RF Group) took part in a discussion of current issues related to international settlements in foreign economic activity.

At the roundtable discussion "International Settlements in Foreign Economic Activity. Alternative Payment Methods," experts presented practical solutions that allow companies to make payments quickly, securely, and with minimized risks. A key tool in this area is the Planeta platform—a marketplace of alternative payment solutions.

Given the specific nature of foreign economic activity for Murmansk Region enterprises, including operations in Arctic conditions and interactions with foreign partners, such instruments are particularly important: they help maintain the stability of export chains and ensure uninterrupted payments.

Petr Zaselsky, Chairman of the Board of Eximbank of Russia (part of the Russian Export Center Group), noted that amid growing sanctions pressure, businesses are actively seeking new payment methods. Eximbank of Russia is systematically working to develop an independent and secure payment and settlement infrastructure.

"Timely and uninterrupted payments are key to developing Russia's foreign trade relations with its international partners. ROSEXIMBANK is always ready to provide the necessary assistance to Russian companies involved in foreign trade in making payments and providing other products," emphasized Petr Zaselsky.

Oleg Mozhayskov, Director of Settlement Infrastructure Development at Eximbank of Russia, spoke in detail about the capabilities of the Planeta platform. According to him, Planeta is a unique aggregator of alternative payment methods for foreign trade transactions, selecting the optimal payment channel based on the specific regional context and business objectives.

Among the key advantages of the platform:

· selection of a payment solution to suit the individual needs of the company;

· taking into account regional specifics and features of foreign trade operations;

· Ensuring security and confidentiality – the platform implements a completely closed cycle of interaction between the parties to the transaction.
