The National Center "Russia" opened for visitors
The National Center "Russia" welcomed its first visitors. It opened its work on November 4 with the International Symposium "Creating the Future", which was attended by more than six thousand guests from 101 countries. Since November 7, the site has been open to everyone every day except Monday, from 10:00 to 20:00, and tours of the exhibition start every 15 minutes.
"Our mission is to create a space for creative thinking, to inspire people and to form a sense of pride in our country, in its achievements through new educational and enlightening formats. We want to make the National Center "Russia" a popular and fashionable place for young people. A space where talents are revealed. A platform where everyone can find opportunities for self-realization. The National Center is open to everyone. We invite everyone who loves our country, is proud of it and strives to make it even better to our site. As at the Exhibition "Russia", all events at the National Center are free," emphasized Deputy Director General of the National Center "Russia" Anastasia Zvyagina.
As at the Russia Exhibition, dozens of excursions will be held daily at the National Center of the same name. In the first three days of work alone, 300 excursions have already been held at the site for participants of the Symposium "Creating the Future". The Center employs 50 guides - all of them have undergone serious training at the Russia Exhibition. These are guides who truly love their work - to give people new knowledge in a talented and interesting way.
Anyone can become a participant in the excursions. To do this, simply register on the website russia.ru or join the groups formed near the information desk.
The National Center "Russia" will continue the rich educational program of the Exhibition. Thus, in the near future the project "Open School" will start here, which will present the best educational practices in the country. The first participant will be the Phystech Lyceum named after P. L. Kapitsa. In February, the site will host the Day of Russian Science, and in March there will be a large forum on the professions of the future.
A rich cultural program will help develop the creative potential of the country's residents, popularize traditional values, and preserve cultural continuity. Thus, on November 12, the National Center will host a unique concert, "The Voice of the Poet," prepared jointly with Lina Arifulina and supported by the PFC. Modern musicians will present masterpieces of the golden and silver ages of Russian poetry in an unusual format. For example, Niletto will perform Robert Rozhdestvensky's poem "Please Be Weaker" in his own style, and Hammali will read Sergei Yesenin's "Letter to a Woman" accompanied by a Russian choir.
On November 30, the National Center "Russia" invites everyone to celebrate the birthday of the genius composer Eduard Artemyev together. And the New Year season will begin on the site on November 21. Guests will be immersed in a fairy-tale atmosphere - they will find unique photo zones, exciting master classes and treats from different regions of the country, and the best soloists of the Bolshoi Theater will take part in an exclusive production of the traditional festive "Nutcracker".
The National Center "Russia" was created by order of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to preserve the legacy of the International Exhibition and Forum "Russia" and to demonstrate the achievements of the country and its citizens on an ongoing basis. Federal authorities, state companies, corporations and regions participate in the work of the center.
The first event at the National Centre “Russia” was the International Symposium “Creating the Future”, which was attended by more than 6,000 guests from 101 countries.
