A working meeting was held between Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee of PJSC Gazprom Vitaly Markelov and Governor Andrey Chibis. During the working meeting, the parties discussed the progress of the implementation of the instruction of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on gasification of the Murmansk Region dated May 25, 2022. At that time, the head of state supported the initiative of the head of the region on gasification of the Kola Arctic. 

Gasification will resolve the issue of the region's dependence on fuel oil, will become an impetus for the development of industrial production at a different technological level, and will contribute to the creation of a large number of new jobs in the region.
