The team from Murmansk became an active participant in the all-Russian social project "Hospitable City for All".
The day before in Skolkovo, as part of the 4th module of the program, the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Youth Policy Maxim Kiselev, the Chief Managing Partner for Urban Development of VEB.RF  Irina Makieva and the Director of the Quality of Life Division of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives Alexander Pirozhenko personally presented letters of gratitude to the team from the capital of the Kola Arctic.

128 cities from 58 regions took part in the large-scale project. The goal of the project is to improve the level of accessible environment in Russian cities, inform citizens about the accessibility and inclusion of objects by filling out the "Accessibility" section on the Yandex Maps service, and also to draw public attention to the issue of forming inclusive routes.

In the capital of the Arctic, together with representatives of the administration, tour guides and concerned residents went on walking routes. Thus, under the guidance of the head of the youth department of the information intelligence center - branch No. 9 of the Central City Library of Murmansk Ekaterina Zamyatina, a group of members of the Senior Generation Club, representatives of the "silver age", walked the route from the memorial sign in honor of the first mayor of Murmansk Oleg Naidenov to the memorial complex dedicated to the fortitude and courage of Murmansk residents during the Great Patriotic War. The project participants also visited the observation decks on the shore of Lake Semenovskoye. Veterans of Murmansk and students of the Children's and Youth Adaptive Sports School No. 15 took part in another walk.

The participants assessed the convenience and accessibility of the routes, shared their impressions and photos of the objects on the Yandex Maps service.

Murmansk was also included in the 125 best projects under the VEB.RF program  "Five Steps for Cities". Let us recall that the results of participation in the program were projects that have already become popular among northerners - the City Fairs "Our Fish" and the project "Home Yard - Home City".
