From June 12 to 16, 2024, the IV Russian Tourism Forum "Travel!" was held as part of the International Exhibition and Forum "Russia". The event brought together more than 3 thousand participants from Russia and 20 foreign countries. The number of guests who visited the forum site was more than half a million people. The Tourist Information Center of the Murmansk Region took part in the forum and presented the tourist opportunities of the Arctic. 

As part of the forum, the Tourist Information Centre of the Murmansk Region presented the tourism potential of the Kola Arctic. Forum guests learned about the national routes "Polar Kaleidoscope" and "From Barents to White", which offer unique opportunities to get to know the region. These routes allow tourists to get to know the nature and culture of the Murmansk Region, see the northern lights, visit unique natural sites and learn more about the lives of the indigenous peoples of the North.

"We strive to make our region even more attractive to tourists by offering a variety of programs and routes. Our goal is to create conditions for a comfortable and interesting vacation so that each guest can feel the unique atmosphere of the North and take away unforgettable impressions," emphasized Anastasia Ivanova, General Director of the Tourist Information Center of the Murmansk Region.

During the forum's business program, experts singled out the Murmansk Region as one of the regions of high interest to foreign tourists. Particular attention was paid to the Murmansk Region's tourism brand, which promotes the region and attracts more and more tourists from all over the world. Experts noted that the Murmansk Region has significant potential for developing the tourism industry and can become one of the most attractive destinations for travelers.

The Murmansk Region, like other regions of Russia, emphasized the importance of domestic tourism for the economic development of remote regions and strengthening of national identity. The Travel! Forum became an important platform for exchanging experience and knowledge in the field of tourism between the regions of Russia.
