The Export Day dedicated to the national project "International Cooperation and Export" was held at the international exhibition and forum "Russia" at VDNKh in Moscow. Representatives of the Ministry of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk Region took part in the business program of events.

Export Day began with an interactive presentation of the digital platform "My Export", which offers businesses 125 financial and non-financial services that simplify work in foreign markets. At the plenary session in the format of a master lecture "Export Drive" with the participation of First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Vasily Osmakov and General Director of the Russian Export Center Veronika Nikishina, they discussed the ways of developing domestic exports in the past, present and future. Representatives of leading Russian companies shared their experience of entering and working in foreign markets: Rosatom, Transmashholding, EFKO, etc.

Guests of the Export Day were able to attend the session of the Ministry of Industry and Trade "Export as a driver of economic growth in the regions", a business game for entrepreneurs and young specialists "Export Regatta" from the Russian Export Center, as well as a round table on the topic of training personnel in the field of foreign economic activity from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the REC Export School.

Two events were organized for companies, which allowed them to communicate with representatives of the business community and experts and exchange experience of working in the global market: a session on “How to create an international startup and support 100+ brands in Asian online markets” and a presentation of successful export cases in the field of high-tech products.

A separate section of the Export Day was devoted to the youth agenda. Thus, young entrepreneurs, schoolchildren, applicants and students whose interests are related to the sphere of foreign economic activity were able to take part in the business game of the REC Export School "Export. Career Track", and also listen to the session "International Cooperation of Young Industrialists", which was held by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Young Industrialists Club and Rosmolodezh.

At the Murmansk Region stand, exhibition guests were able to get acquainted with the region's export potential, large exporting enterprises in such industries as mining, metallurgy, and fishing, as well as organizations that export tourism services.

It should be noted that, according to the results of foreign trade activity for 2023, among the subjects of the Russian Federation that are part of the Northwestern Federal District, the Murmansk Region ranks third in terms of export volumes. The geography of deliveries is 58 countries (including the CIS countries, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, North and Latin America).
