Over the past 5 years, small and medium-sized businesses in the Murmansk region have concluded 116 export contracts
In 2023, the Regional Export Standard 2.0 was fully introduced in the Murmansk Region as part of the presidential national project "International Cooperation and Export". As Acting Governor Nadezhda Aksenova explained during the operational meeting, the document includes a list of tools to support export activities. And all 13 tools were fully and successfully implemented in the Murmansk Region.
"I will focus on the main indicators reflecting the effectiveness of the work done. Thus, today the Murmansk Region ranks 3rd in the Northwestern Federal District in terms of export volume. With the assistance of the Export Support Center, 116 contracts have been concluded over 5 years. The geography of deliveries is 58 countries," Nadezhda Aksenova noted.
Work with exporters was carried out in the Murmansk Region before. The standard made it possible to structure it, fill it and formalize it into a comprehensive development plan until 2030. Three main areas reflected in the program: development of industrial exports, development of exports of the agro-industrial complex, development of exports of tourism services.
The Minister of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk Region Svetlana Panfilova reported in more detail on the implemented export standard.
