The award was presented at the International Exhibition and Forum "Russia" as part of the All-Russian Municipal Forum "Small Homeland - the Power of Russia".

Today, digital transformation is of particular importance, it provides more subtle communication with people, reduces response time, helps us to quickly respond to problems that concern northerners. Several projects have entered our municipal practice, I will dwell on only a few.

The portal "Our North" was created on the initiative of the Governor of the Murmansk Region Andrey Chibis. The resource has already proven its effectiveness, more and more people are registering on the site, northerners write about problems and express their suggestions, and we also conduct surveys on the most pressing topics of our current agenda on the site.

"Transport of the North" is another interactive portal. Northern conditions put forward special requirements for transport infrastructure. Over the past two years, we have significantly updated the rolling stock, and today the average age of buses and trolleybuses in the hero city is less than 4 years. In 2023 alone, with the support of the President and the Government of the Russian Federation, Murmansk received 23 new buses, and thanks to the decision of the Governor of the Murmansk Region Andrei Chibis, within the framework of the regional plan "Living in the North", the hero city received 30 new trolleybuses. In total, since 2021, 55 trolleybuses and 69 buses have been purchased for Murmansk. We also need to improve the related infrastructure. Using the portal, anyone can create an optimal route for themselves based on an online picture, find out how vehicles are currently moving.
