Delegation from Murmansk Region visited innovative facilities in Minsk
On November 23, the Murmansk Region delegation continued its work in Minsk and visited a number of important industrial and commercial facilities. First Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Nadezhda Lazarevich presented the delegation with innovative facilities in Minsk, spoke about the principles of work, benefits for business, and potential for cooperation.
The delegation visited the Minsk Motorcycle and Bicycle Plant, which is one of the largest manufacturers of motorcycles and bicycles in the CIS, and the Minsk City Technopark.
"The Minsk City Technopark is a shining example of successful revitalization of an industrial area. We have become familiar with the stages of creating such a park, the rules of administration, and the current preferential terms for residents. The technopark is aimed at developing small and medium-sized businesses, and this is a priority area for us," noted Svetlana Panfilova, Deputy Governor of the Murmansk Region - Minister of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk Region.
The delegation revisited the Great Stone Industrial Park to take a closer look at the aviation technologies being developed there and widely used in various fields.
"We got acquainted with the technologies for creating unmanned and ultra-light manned complexes. Such models are used in aerial forest protection, in various types of monitoring, in geodesy and other areas. These technologies can be used in our latitudes. Upon returning home, we will look at the subject of application for the tasks set before us with our industry colleagues," added Svetlana Panfilova.
The final object of the program was the new shopping center "First National Handle House", which presents goods from Belarusian manufacturers.
"It is important for the Belarusian side to promote its manufacturers, including in our region, and to sell goods in the Murmansk region. Let's see if we can provide conditions for Belarusian entrepreneurs in terms of retail space, so that it would be economically feasible to open such stores here," concluded Svetlana Panfilova.
